It requires specialist rope access or elevated work platform (EWP) technicians, a coordinated multi-person team, strict WHS compliance, and the discipline to complete both internal and external facades of a 4-storey building completely within the available access window.

Deploying a team remotely to Kalgoorlie — 650 kilometres east of Perth — adds further operational complexity: accommodation, logistics, equipment transport, and on-site supervision must all be managed centrally without local support infrastructure.

Our approach

DailyClean mobilised a specialist team of 4 trained technicians to Kalgoorlie for the annual programme. The team executed a full internal and external high-reach window clean across all 4 storeys of the Agricola accommodation building over a 1.5-week engagement.

The programme was planned and sequenced to minimise disruption to student residents — access to each wing and floor was managed in stages, with the team working systematically through the building. All works were delivered in compliance with WHS requirements for work at height, with appropriate equipment and supervision maintained throughout.

A full building window clean at Quest Fremantle is a uniquely complex operation. The building features openable windows in most apartments, urban balconies, a central garden atrium, a rooftop terrace, and a heritage exterior facade — each presenting distinct access and safety considerations. Unlike an empty commercial building, Quest Fremantle is a live hospitality environment: guests are in their apartments throughout the programme, rooms must be serviced around check-in and check-out schedules, and the cleaning team must operate with the same professionalism and discretion expected of the hotel staff themselves.

Delivering a complete internal and external window clean across 122 apartments, across 5 levels, without disrupting guest experience — twice a year — requires planning, discipline, and a team that understands how to work in an active hospitality environment.
